WHO WE ARE
Our Mission: Earn Your Spurs, Inc was established to encourage and empower ranch and rodeo youth, in southwest New Mexico and southeastern Arizona, to reach their maximum potential as they strive to further their education; whether through scholarships, leadership opportunities or educational resources.
ABOUT US
Earn Your Spurs, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded on the idea that our ranching and youth rodeo community in southeastern Arizona and southwest New Mexico is rich in ranch and rodeo traditions, heritage and families working to pass their legacies down to the next generation. In striving to obtain a higher education for the youth choosing to go on to college, some of which have excelled in the rodeo arena, Earn Your Spurs, Inc. will play a role in providing financial assistance to qualified applicants, as well as providing unique opportunities for youth to engage with local college rodeo programs, professional rodeo athletes, and industry professionals.

CRAIG CARTER AND THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT BAND
Craig was born and raised on a ranch in Southwest Texas. He is the epitome of the classic country-western singer, songwriter, actor, entertainer, and horseman. He has written songs and created melodies that ring with authenticity and match the beauty of his home in the Big Bend Country of Texas. His band, The Spur of the Moment, has played from the West Coast to the East Coast, and everywhere in between, including overseas. Craig, his wife, and their daughter ranch south of Marathon, Texas. Craig is the recipient of the 2015 Texas Cowboy Poetry Heritage Award.
